Registration is now open for the Urban Ravine Symposium at Toronto Botanical Garden.
Join us on Thursday, October 10th for a day of ravine exploration, learning and fun. Through tours, talks, displays and networking, this event will contribute greatly to the growing enthusiasm and expertise for urban ravine restoration. Visit the TBG website to view the exciting line-up of presentations – a little science, a little art, and a whole lot of inspiration!
If you can’t get enough of plants and ravines, there is a second event the very next day!
Henry Hughes of Birmingham Botanical Garden, who is delivering the keynote address on Thursday, will deliver TBG’s Urban Tree Workshop on Friday, October 11th. He will provide detailed advice on establishing and maintaining a native tree seed bank, propagation, seedling care, planting with volunteers, and long-term stewardship. There will be hands-on demonstrations and a tree walk in Wilket Creek Ravine.
Early bird registration prices are in effect until September 20th. Register for both events at the same time and save!
